Vice President
Advocating for patients comes naturally to Jeanne Boling. Whether in her earlier years as a case manager or today as an educator of case managers in all stages of their careers, one thing has remained constant. Advancing the very best care for patients has always been her passion.
Over the course of her career, Jeanne has gained a broad national perspective on case management and what it truly means to be a patient advocate. She generously shares her knowledge, experience and the all important nuances to her students in Mullahy & Associates programs. Her expertise is in-depth across all practice areas of case management, from traditional settings like hospitals, hospices and homes to new models of care such as patient-center medical homes and accountable care organizations. She is equally in-step with the various career paths for case managers from hospital case management to direct-to-consumer case management and case management firm owners.
Jeanne’s passion for patients has earned her the respect and recognition of her professional peers, as well as key leadership roles. She was integral to the formation of and executive director of the Individual Case Management Association (ICMA), and orchestrated the first national case management conference, the Medical Case Management Convention, an annual event. She is the founding leader and former Executive Director of the Case Management Leadership Coalition. Additionally, she is a former Executive Director of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) and she has served as an active member of the Utilization Review and Accreditation Commission (URAC) Board of Directors, the Commission for Case Management Certification (CCMC) and the Advisory Boards of numerous professional publications, as well as insurance, managed care, biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Jeannie’s significant contributions to case management were recognized with the CMSA’s “Lifetime Achievement Award.”
